Meet the Team

Hi! I'm Evelyn! I have three sons who all have bigger feet than I do and who keep our house filled with noise and energy. Being a parent can be so fun! I grew up in NC but lived in Eastern Europe for a time with my husband and am passionate about supporting people from all backgrounds.
I have loved babies and moms since I was a pre-teen eagerly spending afternoons as a mother's helper! Now that my kids are a little older, one of my favorite parts of our homeschool gatherings is holding babies while their moms eat or take a breath. I'm a high-school English teacher turned homeschool mom (although I still teach English weekly at our homeschool co-op!), which has taught me how to support parents during times of stress. I love caring for both babies and parents, and postpartum care is my focus!
Jenna and I homeschool together, and one day when I was vocally pondering my next steps, she recommended becoming a postpartum doula. It's like she knows me or something ;). I'm so excited to help you as you begin this beautiful journey!
